Consul Callahan spoke with Prime Minister Marx of the province of the NAC yesterday to discuss provincial remuneration debt. The NAC will remit four thousand one hundred sixty curos ($83.20) next month, paying off all accumulated debt.
The Remuneration Act provides that provinces, rather than citizens directly, are responsible for the regular income of the confederal government. Some funds are derived from freewill donations, as well. Remuneration income for the confederal government currently accounts for fifteen thousand three hundred sixty curos ($307.20) per year.
