On the 16th of February, the Banknote Design Committee, headed first by Consul Callahan and later by Rev. Joseph Marx, with the membership of Mr. Jordan Brizendine; announced the completion of a design series for the Delveran Curo banknotes. The series, called the “Beauty of Delvera” series, was designed by Prince Carlo I Massaca of Nossia. The series features five bills, each with images of the natural beauty of the Delveran landscape and notable regional landmarks. Consul Callahan has announced plans to address both the Council of Governors and Chamber of Deputies regarding final details, including distribution of the notes throughout the Grand Republic, such as in upcoming citizen pamphlets. This announcement marks the end of the Banknote Crisis, which has been at the forefront of Delveran politics for the past six months. With that in mind, the Consul has expressed deep enthusiasm for the future growth and economic output of the Delveran economy. Future plans for the release of a special proof series of bills for collectors to purchase and display will be made available in the coming weeks. Curo banknotes are fully exchangeable with the United States Dollar, and they are backed by copper bullion. Individuals, businesses and governments may contact the Treasury at [email protected] to inquire as to current rates of exchange and ordering info. Citizens of Delvera, the cabinet approved final designs for the first series of curo banknotes last week. The notes were designed by Carlo I Massaca of Nossia, and feature images from Lavrasia and Neosho. Consul Callahan plans to address both the Council of Governors and the Chamber of Deputies about final details for distribution to the provinces and other regions of the Grand Republic, while the cabinet will approve plans for printing. Truly this is a momentous day for Delvera. Finally, the banknote crisis which has plagued us for the last six months seems to be resolving, allowing the Delveran economy to continue to grow and develop at a rapid pace. Expect further instructions from the government regarding how each and every citizen can obtain curos for personal use.
