The Grand Republic is pleased to announce the acquisition of a new colony over the weekend. Rusalka was incorporated late Saturday night following negotiations between the Council of Governors and the petitioner, now Colonial Governor Christian Newton. The number of citizens of the newly incorporated colony is estimated at six, though no official census has yet been taken, and there is some expectation of that number to rise in coming weeks.
