Announced via memorandum to the cabinet this morning, Consul Callahan announces that a monthly budget deficit of two hundred eighty-six curos (-$5.72) has been avoided by cutting unnecessary spending by six hundred curos ($12.00), and the shortfall has been thus replaced by a surplus of three hundred and fourteen curos (+$6.28).
