An Address by Consul Dylan Callahan

"It has been observed that many micronational leaders are choosing to make public comment on the macronational political scene, specifically and recently commenting their opinions on headline news in the United States of America. Many of those making public comment are within the macronational jurisdiction of the United States, and many are not.
"It is the policy of my administration to execute my duties in the advancement of Delvera's interests, and to only share my personal opinions with those in my personal sphere. In any and all cases of micronational interest, I am committed to providing lawful administration and expedient care in discharging my duties and providing leadership where needed. The duty and leadership role of the office of Consul does not extend in any way, shape or form into making public comment on macronational affairs which do not affect the micronation or our political personhood.  It is only with respect, and not with any sense of chastisement, that I call upon micronational leaders now and in the future to consider with great care the expediency and pertinence of public comment on matters beyond the scope and plane of their leadership.
